A TCO label on the displays guarantees:
Excellent picture quality and good ergonomic properties
- High visual ergonomic requirements lead to excellent picture quality and good colour reproduction, which prevents eyes from becoming tired.
- Possible to adjust display angle and height to prevent strain injury.
Low radiation level
- Substantial reduction of magnetic and electrical fields.
- Minimised electrostatic fields.
Low energy consumption
- Low energy consumption leads to lower energy costs and less environmental impact.
- The energy economy function produces a better indoor climate by giving off less heat and thereby maintaining humidity.
Minimised impact on the environment
- The manufacturer must be certified in accordance with ISO 14001/EMAS.
- Reduced emission of brominated and chlorinated flame retardants and heavy metals into the environment (also complies with the RoHS directive from 1 July 2006).
- The display must be prepared for recycling, which facilitates material recovery.
- There must be information as to where the display can be submitted for recycling.
